The Associated Press just released
analysis of the US government's responses to Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) requests, and it ain't pretty. The US denied or censored answers
to almost 40% of citizens' requests for information. That's the bad
news. The good news is, more and more people are issuing these requests,
because they are starting to realize that maybe they should care about
what the government is doing and what it means in terms of our
day-to-day lives being affected. The Resident discusses. Follow The Resident at http://www.twitter.com/TheResident
