The record-breaking event, organised by the association Boek.be, was designed to celebrate books and promote reading. At the end of the 614-metres-long trajectory, which took only six minutes to complete, the books set off fireworks to the great applause of onlookers. Forty volunteers two hours to painstakingly set up the lines of books. Report by Andrea Lilly.
