As more and more Americans get fed
up with headlines about their government over-regulating, spying, or
otherwise being invasive, they're starting to take it upon themselves to
opt out of systems where the government has stepped in. Project Meshnet
intends on forming a new internet from scratch, which could offer an
escape from the NSA's prying eyes. Occupy Money Cooperative hopes to
offer another banking system that isn't fueld by Wall St and government
corruption and greed. And there are many other examples. With all of
these movements starting, is it safe to say a new kind of American
