The Swedish government could potentially resign today.
This according to sources that spoke to SVT Nyheter and Aftonbladet.
"Yes, there is absolutely a potential risk that Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will hand in his resignation," says a source to SVT.
In a press conference this morning, the Swedish opposition leaders announced a motion of no-confidence against interior minister Anders Ygeman, defence minister Peter Hultqvist and infrastructure minister Anna Johansson following an IT-leak scandal at the Swedish Transport Agency.
The situation has suddenly backed the sitting government into a corner - to the point that they are considering resignation.
"If the government falls, we need to take responsibility, and we are ready to govern," says a source from Moderaterna to Aftonbladet.
