This documentary-exposé on The Carlyle Group was posted on YouTube in 2009. Amazing it's still there considering the infamous "28 pages" are currently so in the news. Worth a watch IMO. Presented by investigative journalist/author Dan Briody and Charles Lewis, journalist and Founder of The Center For Public Integrity. With statements from former U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney. Frank Carlucci, Steve Norris (co-founder), David Rubenstein (co-founder), the Bush Family, The Saudi Royal Family, the Bin Laden family are discussed and/or interviewed. Especially interesting, Steve Norris' candid enthusiasm for how The Carlyle Group came about and their surprisingly good fortune and timing. Not really so incredible considering how they did (and I imagine continue to do) business.
