Archaeologists discover Nazi ruins in a remote nature reserve in Argentina

It appears that Nazis made their way deep into Argentina's jungle.

Abandoned buildings designed for a hide-out and German coins from the era were found in the Teyu Cuare Park in Misiones province, the AP reports.

"The Nazis never lived here because they realized they could live more comfortably, and in hiding, while in cities," David Schavelzon, director of the urban archeology center at Buenos Aires University, told the AP.

University of Buenos Aires researchers discovered five German coins minted in 1938 to 1941 and a piece of porcelain plate with the words "Made in Germany" on it, according to The Guardian.
