Hi Folks,

Lot's of conflicting reports as to what really happened in NW Louisianan. There were reports of 'fireballs' coming down from the sky, then there were reports of the military preforming a 'test.' As usual, we really can never get a straight answer from the Lamestream Media in the U.S.

UPDATED: Camp Minden bunker explosion rocks region
Webster Parish officials confirmed this morning that a bunker at Camp Minden was the source of a loud boom that shattered windows and unnerved people throughout northwest Louisiana late last night.

The bunker belongs to Explo, one of the many tenants at Camp Minden that produces explosives on the expansive site, Webster Parish sheriff’s Chief Deputy Bobby Igo said.
No injuries were reported.

Explo spokesman Terry Wright said he should be able to release more information later today on what caused the bunker explosion at Camp Minden last night.

“We’re still in the middle of the investigation. I don’t want to mislead anybody,” said Wright of his preference to wait until more information is in hand before talking about the incident.

Loud ball of fire explodes in Louisiana
Authorities are investigating the source of a bright flash in the sky, loud boom and what shook residences and businesses about 11:40 p.m. Monday in northwest Louisiana, first reported as an explosion at Barskdale Air Force Base.

"Felt the boom at 11:30 but also were driving west on I20 in Shreveport at 10:30 when my husband and I both saw a greenish glow streaking rather low and shakily across the sky with sparks behind it. Angle was from the NW. Couldn't estimate distance," wrote Laura Kester Moehring on KTBS Facebook.

Something shakes northwest Louisiana
Northwest Louisiana authorities are investigating the source of whatever shook people's residences and businesses about 11:40 p.m. Monday.

The Webster sheriff's office now is entertaining the possibility that it may have been a meteorite, possibly in the Dixie Inn area. There have been a large number of reports stating that they saw something come down instead of something blow up, a spokesman said.
And a woman reported hearing what sounded like debris hit a shop on Bellevue Road in the Dixie Inn area.

If it was a meteorite, that would fall to NASA and the Air Force to investigate. A spokeswoman for Barksdale Air Force Base public affairs said that the installation is investigating and that whatever the source, it didn't originate at the base.
